New terms of use for Facilotab

The security and confidentiality of user data are among our priorities. We are committed to respecting the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) implemented by the European Union.

Data received by e-mail from by the Facilotab user

– All messages such as SMS, MMS, electronic messages sent or received by the user transit directly from the operator to the tablet without passing through the CDIP / Facilotab servers.
– The same applies to media (photos, videos, documents, etc.)
– A complete cancellation of this type of data on the tablet can be carried out for each account, by the tablet interface directly.

Data entered by the user

In order to make backups of user data, some information is stored and synchronized on the CDIP/Facilotab servers.
In case of a problem with the tablet, this data can be easily restored. It is also automatically restored on a new tablet if the tablet is exchanged.
This data can also be accessed by trusted assistants determined by the user to participate remotely in the installation of applications, websites, the registration of contacts, etc…

These are:

– your personal information associated with your account (your email, name, first name, phone, gender,…)

– contacts

– elements of the diary

– Facilotab account settings

– web bookmarks

– accessible applications

– shortcuts

This data is kept for the duration of use of the tablet and up to 6 months thereafter. They are then automatically destroyed from our servers. A message will be sent after 5 months of non-use of the tablet to the user’s email address to warn of this destruction of the backups.
The CDIP undertakes not to operate any commercial use of this data, even free of charge.

Tracking of problems encountered in the application

Tracking of bugs encountered in the application The services described below will only be used if you agree to the transmission of this data.
Facilotab uses Firebase Analytics, an application analysis service. The data transmitted is :
– an encrypted user ID
– the domains of the links consulted
– the associated partner code if there is one
– the ID of the external applications used and the duration of use
– the navigation in Facilotab and the duration in each module (messaging, photos, etc.)
– the Facilotab games played and their duration of use
– age
– gender
– the type of licence used (none, demo, classic, classic by subscription, pro, pro by subscription)
– the number of caregivers, contacts, favourite sites, favourite applications, photos and videos in the gallery.
Firebase Analytics keeps the above data for 14 months. Facilotab uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service that tracks bugs encountered in the application. The data transmitted is :
– the unique Crashlytics installation ID
– crash traces
– Breakpad minidump formatted data. They allow an easy debugging of crashes.
– the characteristics of the hardware used
The minidump data is stored during the processing of the crash session, then deleted.
Firebase Crashlytics keeps the crash stack traces, the data extracted from the minidump and the associated identifiers (including the Crashlytics installation UUIDs) for 90 days.
All this data is anonymised and stored on Google Firebase – Google Cloud (us-central).
