The customer declares to have read the following provisions before ordering the products.
It is the exclusive responsibility of each customer to define their needs, choose the appropriate hardware and software and ensure the compatibility of the products purchased.
The placing of an order implies on the part of the customer the full and complete acceptance of these general conditions of sale, as well as the full legal capacity allowing him to commit himself under these general conditions of sale.

1. Price
The prices of our products are indicated in Euros or in the currency chosen by the customer, all taxes included, excluding participation in processing and shipping costs. (Shipping fees).
For all products shipped outside the European Union and TOM, our prices are exclusive of tax. Customs duties or other local taxes or import duties or state taxes may be payable. These rights and sums are not within the jurisdiction of the CDIP. They will be your responsibility.
Promotional prices: Promotions are offered on our products for a fixed and limited period. If several promotions are in progress on the same product at the same time, the CDIP reserves the right to allow the customer to benefit from the most advantageous promotion, the promotions not being cumulative.
The sponsorship offers offered on our products cannot be combined with other promotions in progress on our shop.

2. Order

The CDIP reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order.
2.2 Discount coupon and gift voucher
1. Discount coupons or gift vouchers issued by the CDIP are only valid on our website, the online store outside the bookstore section.
2. Only discount coupons and gift certificates issued by the CDIP are accepted on the online store.
3. Discount coupons and gift vouchers are valid under the conditions defined at the time of their allocation, failing which they are valid on all the software and services offered on our online store.
4. The coupon code or the references of the gift voucher must be entered during the ordering process.
5. When the value of your order is greater than the amount of your discount coupon or gift voucher, the difference must be paid by credit card, Paypal, bank transfer or check.

5. Delivery
5.1 By post
The products are delivered to the delivery address mentioned by the customer when ordering.
The delivery time includes the time of preparation of the package and the time of routing. Our carrier is generally La Poste, their delivery time is around 1 to 2 days for metropolitan France. If you choose to pay by check or bank transfer, the order will only be processed upon receipt of it.
Any order delivered outside the European Community is likely to be subject to possible taxes and customs duties. The payment of these taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer and is his sole responsibility.
The customer is required to check the condition of the packaging and the conformity of the product delivered.
The customer must, in the event of damage or missing items, refuse delivery to the carrier and inform the CDIP of any necessary findings.
The CDIP cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery.
5.2 Download
The products are delivered by download only. At the time of ordering, you must provide a valid email address. CDIP makes every effort to ensure that you receive the e-mail containing your software license number as soon as possible, as well as the internet link to follow to download the software.
If the CDIP download server is temporarily unavailable, CDIP will make every effort to restore it.
The customer will ensure that his anti-spam device does not reject the messages sent by our automaton.
Software or add-ons (image packs, etc.) for download must be downloaded by the customer within 6 months of the date of the order. Beyond this period, the CDIP no longer guarantees the availability of the files, and cannot be blamed in the event that the customer has not made the necessary backups or purchased these same backups.
The CDIP strongly advises downloading via broadband internet access (adsl, cable, etc.).
The CDIP cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery.

6. Shipping costs
Shipping costs include a participation in preparation and packaging costs + postage costs.

7. Payment
You have different means of payment:

The CDIP reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time of the registration of the orders, subject to availability.
The products remain the property of the CDIP until full payment of the price, in particular in the event of rejection of the means of payment.
8. Securing
To counter any risk of misappropriation of your bank card, the CDIP uses a secure payment system with SSL standards, the most secure and most widespread encryption protocol currently.
Your bank details are directly encrypted and routed to Crédit Mutuel's 'CyberMUT payment' organization, without going through our site. The data is directly managed by the bank.
The CDIP does not store any banking information.
9. Returns
9.1. Right to retract
In accordance with the law, the customer has a period of 14 (fourteen) days to return, at his expense, the products that do not suit him. This period runs from the day of delivery of the order.
Only software returned complete and unopened will be taken back. Any software that has been installed will not be refunded or exchanged.
Only products returned in perfect condition, in their original packaging and accompanied by any accessories may be subject to a refund request.
This right of withdrawal is exercised without penalty for the customer.
The customer can request either the refund of the sums paid, or the exchange of the product.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the customer has installed the software or obtained a code for software requiring activation. This right cannot also be exercised for personalized orders such as prints with data provided and validated by the customer.
9.2. Product non-compliance
Defective, damaged or non-compliant products will be taken back and refunded or exchanged or will be the subject of a credit note. In this case, we thank you for agreeing to report it in detail in writing and to return the product(s) to us. The CDIP will exchange or refund the product(s).
9.3. Satisfied or refunded offer
For products benefiting from this offer, the customer may, beyond the legal withdrawal period of 14 days and within a maximum of 30 days from delivery, request a refund. Only products returned in perfect condition, in their original packaging and accompanied by any accessories may be subject to a refund request. And in this case, only the shipping and return costs will remain the responsibility of the customer.
10. Refund procedure
In the event of a request for reimbursement or cancellation of the order, the CDIP will reimburse the customer within 30 days of receipt of the request.
Reimbursement will be made at the choice of the CDIP by bank check, bank transfer or by recrediting the means of payment used when ordering.
11. User license
The user must read the license before using the software. The request for the activation code implies acceptance of the terms of the user license.
11.1 General
The purchase of software gives the right to use on several computers for personal use only.
You may not assign or transfer your rights to the Software or authorize the copying of all or part of the Software to another user's computer.
You can only transfer your rights to use the software to another person if you give up using the software yourself, transfer the original CD-Rom and the printed documentation to them and do not keep any copies, including backups. or those installed on a computer. The beneficiary must accept the provisions of this contract.
You will need to notify CDIP in writing and provide the beneficiary's contact details.
Obtaining an updated version free of charge or for a fee or obtaining a new edition of the software at a preferential price as a result of this license does not allow you to transfer all or part of your use of any of the versions or new editions of the software to another person.
11.2 Additional features of Geneatics, genealogy software
11.2.1 A single person
If you have several computers, it is possible to install the software on all your computers.
But you cannot use Généatique on several computers simultaneously, whether for a single person or several people. However, you will be able to take turns using Genetics.
11.2.2 Need for internet access
Periodic Internet access is required for Généatique to validate the license regularly. When you do not have internet temporarily, the software can be launched and used without any problem but for a very limited time.
12. Intellectual Property
All the texts, comments, works, illustrations and images contained in the CD-Roms and on the packaging or reproduced on the Internet sites of the CDIP are reserved under copyright as well as under intellectual property and for the whole world.
As such, and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only use for private use is authorized. Any other use constitutes counterfeiting and is sanctioned under Intellectual Property, except with the prior authorization of the CDIP.
13. Liability
The products offered comply with the French legislation in force. The CDIP cannot be held responsible in the event of non-compliance with the legislation of the country where the products are delivered.
The CDIP cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of the contract concluded in the event of out of stock or unavailability of the product, force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, in particular of the postal services and means of transport and/or communications, flood, fire.
In addition, the CDIP cannot bear any "damage and interest" for any reason whatsoever.
With regard to the quality of printing of personalized documents, the CDIP makes every effort to produce documents that meet the expectations of its customers. However, given the subjective nature of the assessment of the result and the importance of the quality of the client's photographs on the "rendering", it is agreed that under no circumstances may the CDIP proceed to the reprinting of more a copy of the documents ordered, within the limit of 50 Euros; amount calculated on the basis of the list price.

15. Personal information
The CDIP undertakes not to disclose to third parties the information provided by the customer except for orders processed by partners. In this case, only the information needed to process the order is communicated and we do not authorize our partner to use this data for purposes other than order processing.
The CDIP only collects the data strictly necessary for the proper processing of orders or to announce advantages, promotions and new products, which we wish to share with our customers.
The information requested from the customer is necessary for the processing of his order and is intended for the services of the CDIP. Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer has a right of access to information concerning him. On request, they can be communicated to him and, in the event of an error or modification, be rectified.
