For senior citizen residences, CDIP has set up a tablet solution designed to help residents successfully communicate with their loved ones via video, photo and audio messages. The special feature is the FACILOTAB “Pro” version, which is different from the “Classic” edition reserved for private customers.
An adapted tablet for the presenter
Specially designed for nursing homes to facilitate communication between families and residents (including “visio”), the Facilotab Pro solution is built around one or more shared tablets.
Facilotab can be installed on all ANDROID tablets without any technical knowledge. As a result, this professional (and cost-effective) solution can now be deployed on touchscreen tablets already on site!
The aim is to offer an ergonomically-adapted interface, as well as the ability to create several user accounts (with secure personal data, specific settings, interface customization, etc.) on each Facilotab Pro tablet.
Facilotab’s teams also offer training and educational support sessions, as well as services to customize the tablet to the school’s colors.

Facilotab includes a collection of applications specially designed for computer neophytes, independent retirees and seniors living in nursing homes:
- Text messaging for everyone, thanks to perfect character legibility and an optional simplified alphabetical keyboard.
- A photo gallery contains all the photos and videos received by the messaging system. Photos are automatically archived for easy consultation. What’s more, the latest shots appear without manipulation in the user’s slideshow. This also enables the camera to be used as a “digital frame”.
